GO Engagement creates spaces to mobilize Grenfell faculty, staff and students for engagement. The office brings people together to address issues of common concern, to solve shared problems, and to generate positive social change by creating mutually beneficial partnerships and collaborations.
GO Engagement is responsible for implementing Memorial's Engagement Framework at Grenfell Campus, as well as community education programming, experiential learning and career development, and the activities of the Navigate Entrepreneurship Centre. The office oversees summer programming including camps, adult art workshops and cultural programs for international audiences.
There is significant engagement and collaborative activity happening at Grenfell. Engagement events over the past few 40 years have highlighted the strength of the relationship between Grenfell Campus and the broader community. These initiatives include engaged research and experiential learning among faculty, students and staff.
GO Engagement was established to build a culture of collaboration between Grenfell and the western region of Newfoundland and Labrador and beyond. GO Engagement's success depends on continued collaboration between the campus community and our local, regional, provincial and global partners.
