I teach courses in introductory business
and marketing, and in business leadership, organizational behaviour, theory,
and change, as well as business ethics and social responsibility. I also
supervise undergraduate students through the Memorial University Undergraduate
Career Experience (MUCEP) program, and graduate students in the Masters of Arts
in Environmental Policy (MAEP) program who have a specific interest in
corporate social responsibility.
area of research interest is social responsibility, and I am currently pursuing
PhD studies at the University of Leicester that specifically examine how small
businesses understand and engage with social responsibility. I am also
interested in the area of social entrepreneurship, and the definitional and
measurement challenges that exist in the field. Exploring university teaching
and learning, and curriculum development are further areas of research
curiosity that bridge my teaching and research interests.
