I am excited to join Grenfell at a time of opportunity for students. Our staff and faculty excel in teaching and providing educational experiences for students linked to community issues; graduate programs are developing and offering new prospects for students; and research programs are thriving.
I'm looking forward to facilitating the growth of teaching and research at Grenfell to promote a flourishing institution poised for the continued success of future generations of students. Our researchers are keen to push the leading-edge of discovery and incorporate it with associated academic programming - it's what they love to do. The teaching has been very strong here for as long as I can remember, you need that in conjunction with the research. You need it together to take students to the breaking edge of discovery. Couple the strong teaching history with the applied growing research, and this school will be very strong.
As a science or environment student, you'll benefit from an increased emphasis on research experiences within academic programming, integrated with community, that prepares you for a career in your field of interest.
