Apply to the nursing program

The selection process for Grenfell's bachelor of nursing program is very competitive and there are a limited number of seats available. For more information on how to apply cli​ck here.

1.pngComplete the university's application for general admission/readmission. All supporting documents including your official transcripts for the general admission/readmission application should be mailed directly to the ​Office of the Registrar.

Students can apply to the four-year program directly from high school. You must have completed the following high school courses:

      • Biology 2201 and 3201 (or an equivalent)
      • Chemistry 3202 (or an equivalent)
      • English 3201
      • Math 3200 or Math 3201
      • Two social science or modern language credits (two credits at the 3000 level)


Students can apply to our bachelor of nursing two-year fast-track program, if you have successfully completed the following university courses:

      • An undergraduate degree from a recognized university
      • Statistics 2500 (or an equivalent) or Education 2900
      • Biochemistry 1430 (or an equivalent)
      • Biology 3053 (or an equivalent)

check.pngIf you have not completed an undergraduate degree, you may still qualify for the two-year fast-track option. To apply for this option you must have successfully completed all the non-nursing course requirements (36 credit hours) of the bachelor of nursing (collaborative) program. For more information, view the University Calendar, and/or our nursing admissions webpage.


Ensure all supporting documents are submitted ​including your official transcripts and ​completed reference form. All required documents should be mailed to the office of the registrar.

All documents must be received in the nursing consortium office or post marked, by the March 1 deadline. Application deadline for both the four-year program and fast-track option is March 1
