​Android Wireless Configuration

1.  Click the Menu button on your phone, and tap Settings on your device


2.  Tap Wireless & Networks


3.   Ensure Wi-Fi is turned on, and tap Wi-Fi Settings
4.   Tap Add Wi-Fi network
5.  Wi-Fi Network Settings:
  • Network SSID - fac or stu 

  • Security - 802.1x Enterprise  

  • EAP method - PEAP

  • Phase 2 authentication - MSCHAPV2

  • Identity - swgc\username

  • Wireless password - password

  • Tap Save


6.   Provided you are in a wireless service area, your device should now connect automatically, and 
      you should see the signal strength “fan” in you status bar.
*** NOTE ***
If your device cycles through “scanning, connecting, disconnecting” this is sometimes normal
and you may connect normally in 30 – 60 seconds. If it does not, turn your Wi-Fi off and then
back on and let your device attempt on its own again. If it still does not work, you may wish to
call the Service Desk at 639-2049 or visit us in AS367.
