Qualify to graduate...
You must first apply to graduate; the Registrar's Office will review your academic record to determine if you've met the degree requirements. The deadline to apply to graduate is January 15 for Spring Convocation and July 15 for Fall Convocation. Log on to Memorial Self Service to fill out the application for graduation. Students can also submit a request for degree advice form to the registrar’s office if you are unsure if you meet the degree requirements.

Be in the know...
The Convocation ceremony will be held in Corner Brook at the Arts and Culture Centre. The schedule will be available two months prior to the ceremony. You should arrive at the Arts and Culture Centre one hour before your convocation ceremony to pick up your academic dress. Parking is free, but limited. The convocation ceremony is approximately one hour and 30 minutes in length. Each will be broadcast live on the university's website and videotaped for future broadcast on cable television. Finally, the degrees you've worked so hard for... proudly cross the stage, get hooded and shake hands with the chancellor! You can find more information about the ceremony on our Convocation ceremony page.
