Grenfell Theatre Current Production

Below you will find the current production on stage at Grenfell Campus.

  • Anna Karenina

Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy has long been considered to be one of the greatest novels ever written and is certainly one of the great love stories of all time. Over the years film versions have starred Greta Garbo, Vivien Leigh and most recently Keira Knightly. Helen Edmundson's expressionistic stage adaptation gives a brilliant contemporary twist to this classic story. A cast of more than 20 actors from the second- and third-year Grenfell theatre classes will play more than twice that number of characters with technical support from second- and third-year stagecraft students. Ken Livingstone, former head of Fine Arts is returning as guest director and set designer. Costume and lighting design are by longtime resident designers Carol Nelson and roy Hansen-robitschek.

Anna Karenina runs Wednesday, March 4, to Saturday, March 7, at 8 p.m., at the Fine Arts Theatre.

Tickets are available at the box office at the following times:
    Tuesday, March 3 - 11:30 am to 12:30 pm
