Canadian High School Students:
- Successful completion of Grade 12 university preparation program (academic or advanced)
- Minimum overall average of 70 per cent complied from Grade 12 courses in English, Math, Laboratory Science, Social Science or modern or classical language and an elective (must achieve a passing grade in each individual course).

Students applying for transfer from other universities or colleges are subject to Memorial’s Continuance and Readmission regulations
. Accordingly, each student’s academic standing at other previous or current institutions must be considered. For this reason, official final transcripts from all other institutions attended must be submitted, regardless of whether transfer of credit is sought or expected.
To apply for mature student status, you must be 21 years of age or older. You will be required to submit proof of age; two letters of reference from persons competent to assess your ability to proceed with university studies; a letter outlining the grounds for requesting special consideration; and high school marks and marks from post-secondary institutions, if applicable. (i.e. admission may be limited or competitive) are strictly followed. But you can apply for general admission after the deadline and will be considered for admission to any faculties or programs that are open after the deadline. You may also apply for general admission with an undeclared program.

. Official transcript(s) and calendar descriptions and/or outlines of courses claimed for credit are also required and should be sent directly to Memorial University from the institution attended. Required documents to submit:
- Interim transcript (official or unofficial) at the time of application if courses are in progress
- Final transcript (official) as soon as the final grades for courses that are in progress at the time of application are completed
- Application for transfer credit evaluation
- If a degree (from another post-secondary institution) has not been awarded, you will also need to submit an official high school transcript.

Single email policy in effect - students must have an active @mun.ca email account for communication with the Office of the Registrar. Permission to Register letters (with your registration time) and Enrolment Verification documents, etc., will no longer be mailed and will only be sent to activated @mun.ca email accounts.
