and are matched to your academic needs.

For more information contact Lorna Payne, firstname.lastname@example.org.
(SI) is student-led study sessions organized to practice and review topics from lecture classes. SI is proven to increase student achievement and reduce the number of failing grades and drop outs.
A schedule of the sessions for these classes are posted on the SI boards, located on the 3rd floor of the Arts & Science building, the Peer Tutor Room (AS 384) and the Learning Centre (AS 235).
PAPER COPIES ONLY
When seeking assistance with coursework, students are reminded to bring along a printed copy of any documents they wish to review. The nature of the assistance provided by the Learning Centre and Peer Tutors, particularly writing assistance, requires tutors to see whole documents laid out in printed format. As well, LCD screens make it impossible to view images on the screen from angles other than straight-on. This leads to an unproductive tutorial. To make your session with a tutor more efficient, have your document typed in Times New Roman size 12 font, double spaced, and printed.
Applying for a professional program? Need a letter of application, or autobiographical statement? Drop by and see the Literacy Instructional Assistant about writing university application letters. No appointment necessary, stop by at Room AS 235.
Have the Learning Centre Bulletin delivered to your favorite email account. Let us know your address and we can send you our weekly updates.
Subject line: Send me the Bulletin.
Be sure to include your name and email address in the text of your message.
Jobs For Students
Be sure to check the Job board at Student Services for positions available off-campus. This is a good opportunity to explore career options or gain more work experience. Drop by to see what's happening off-campus.
