Entrepreneurship and Innovation Conference

Grenfell Campus has significant capacity to play a leadership role in the economic and social development of the western region of Newfoundland and Labrador.  Entrepreneurship and innovation are critical to the western economy and there is an important role for Grenfell Campus in these areas.  Grenfell's vision for innovation and entrepreneurship is rooted in three core elements: first a commitment to the quadruple helix of industry, government, community and university collaboration; second, supporting an entrepreneurial culture by supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem in western Newfoundland and third strengthening innovation in the western region.

The Entrepreneurship and Innovation: Unlocking Regional Potential conference provided opportunities for dialogue about these three core elements of Grenfell's engagement vision. The conference provided knowledgeable keynote speakers and opportunities for dialogue in order to spark innovative thinking and action from government, university, community and industry partners and provided an opportunity to network and create the connections that can result in meaningful and innovative collaborations.
