Environmental studies

Minors

Grenfell's minor in environmental studies is right for you if you love the outdoors and are looking to complement your degree with a minor that reflects the responsibilities we have to find solutions for the future. You might touch on environmental issues in a variety of fields including:

  • Geography
  • Economics
  • Political science
  • Resource management
  • Environmental law
  • Religious studies
  • Outdoor pursuits

Requirements

Students completing a minor in environmental studies must complete 24 credit hours in the following courses:

  • Environmental studies 1000, 2000 and six credit hours from those designated as environmental studies core courses.
  • Twelve credit hours from those designated as environmental studies elective courses. The courses chosen must be beyond the 1000-level and from at least three subject areas.
