Details: Join us for a discussion about alternative forms of knowledge mobilization for your research. This is a great opportunity to learn about different methods for communicating your research such as podcasts and blogging. Our panel will get into an in-depth discussion of methods they have used to communicate their research, with time for some question and answer.

3) GGSS Zine making Workshop
Date & Time: Wed, Nov 24 from 2:30-3:30 p.m.
Location: Upper Airport Lounge (Upper AS atrium)
Details: Join the Grenfell Graduate Student Society to create an alternative format of presenting your research. The method of zine making combines various images, texts and messages to portray your research. Think collage! Bring along a large font synopsis printout of your research that you can use to cut and paste different ideas, and we'll provide the rest of the materials. This will be a fun workshop, so don't miss it.
4) Graduate Supervisor Coffee Social

Details: Join the Office of Research and Graduate Studies for the opportunity to meet our team and connect with other graduate supervisors. This will be an informal get together where you can offer suggestions or ideas on the type of support that we can provide for graduate supervisors as well as chat with your colleagues.
5) 3-MInute Thesis- Grenfell Competition

Details:Join Grenfell graduate students as they present their research in a brief 3-minute presentation. The format will follow the same style as other 3-minute thesis competitions around the world(https://www.mun.ca/sgs/3MT/). This is an opportunity for graduate students to present their research to an audience and panel of judges before they present at the Memorial University Wide 3-Minute Thesis competition.
6) ARC-NL Research Talk

Details: The Aging Research Centre- Newfoundland and Labrador (ARC-NL) invites you to its Research Talk being held as part of Research Week 2021. The research Talk will feature presentations on research that is relevant to aging in Newfoundland and Labrador. Those Include:
- Younger Adults' Attitudes toward Older Adults: Does coming from a rural community matter?

Nov. 24 - Open House - 2 p.m. - Aging Research Centre-Newfoundland and Labrador (ARC-NL) - ARC-NL is hosting a virtual open house/update/announcement of recipients of its 2020 fellowships and research grants. Nov. 25 - Research Gong Show - 4:30-5:30 p.m. - Join Grenfell Campus researchers for some enlightening fun! Nov. 26 - Indigenous Studies in Collaboration: Relationship building for collaborative research & engagement - 2:30 p.m.
This session will feature panelists from the Grenfell Campus Indigenous Resource Centre and Grenfell Campus's Offices of Research and Engagement to discuss previous, ongoing, and future opportunities for collaboration between Mi'kmaw communities in Western Newfoundland and Grenfell Campus. This session will be open to all faculty, staff, and students at Grenfell Campus as well as interested community members representing various communities and Indigenous organizations in the region.
