Research interests/expertise

My research interests relate to the broad issue of how businesses collaborate to become more competitive. In terms of collaboration, I often focus on specific issues surrounding how these businesses share sensitive information between one another, why they share it, and how they regulate it.

I research this type of collaboration across many different situations. These include how retailers share consumer data with their suppliers, how entrepreneurs share information with potential partners and funder, or how competing businesses in rural areas share information to collectively grow their markets.

Teaching

I love teaching both in the classroom and online. My teaching areas lie mostly within the areas of entrepreneurship, strategy, and international business. As part of the Grenfell Bachelor Business Administration program, I often teach: BUSN 1020 - Introduction to Entrepreneurship, BUSN 3600 – Enterprise Development, BUSN 4040 – International Business Management, and BUSN 4010 – Strategic Management.
