Brianne Bishop (President)
Email: bvbishop@grenfell.mun.ca
Hi there, my name is Brianne Bishop, and I am the president of the Psychology Society. I am so excited to be back on campus this year and I hope to be able to work with the rest of our executive team to plan fun and safe events that students can participate in. However, I know that this year is going to be challenging. Adjusting to remote teaching during a pandemic and now returning to blended learning or in-person classes is exhausting for a lot of students. I encourage anyone to reach out to me at any time - regarding the psych society, mental health, or even just to chat!

Hello all! My name is Drishti Patel, and I am currently in the fourth year of my B.Sc. in Psychology (Honours) degree. I am coming to you as the Treasurer of the Psychology Society, and I’m thrilled to be a part of the executive team this year! I was involved with the Psychology Society in my early years at Grenfell and know first-hand how rewarding it is to participate in activities that raise awareness regarding mental health and support the community in doing so. With that, I’m looking forward to a year of fun activities, mental health awareness campaigns and meeting some wonderful new people. If you are looking to get involved on campus and in the community, joining the Psych Society would prove to be a great opportunity. I hope you all have an amazing year, and please don’t hesitate to reach out at any time!

Jessie Holden (Social Media Representative 2)
Hi there, my name is Jessie Holden, and I am one of the social media representatives for the Psych Society this year. I am also a third-year psychology student hoping to do Honours next year. In the future, I hope to go into counselling. I enjoy cooking and baking (I am not very good at it, but I enjoy it). I say this with any introduction, but I have two cats, one is very overweight and the other has no teeth. If you would like to reach for any questions regarding the psych society, you can certainly email me. You could also, more than likely, find me in the Dem room in the psychology hallway!
Naomi Butt (Social Media Representative 3)
Hello everyone, my name is Naomi Butt, and I am one of the new social media representatives for this semester's Psych society. I am a second-year BA student planning on majoring in psychology. I am undecided about my end career goal, but I am very interested in therapy and law. I grew up in a small town in the straits of Labrador so I am very excited to finally be on campus where I can get involved and meet new people. My favorite season is Winter, and I enjoy hiking, skating, being with my friends, and travelling.
