I am excited to be Grenfell's inaugural Dean for the School of Science and the Environment. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to excellence in teaching and research in a diverse set of disciplines in the sciences and disciplines relating to the environment.
Our School offers undergraduate degrees in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, General Science, Physics, Computational Mathematics, Resource Management, and graduate degrees in Environmental Policy and Boreal Ecosystems and Agricultural Science.
Our highly successful faculty excel in teaching and providing educational experiences for students linked to community issues and many are engaged in innovative research spanning local, regional, national and international scales. Close interactions among faculty, staff and students in a small campus setting as well as diverse and well-equipped teaching and research facilities ensures rewarding and successful teaching, learning, and research experiences for everyone.
Our students enjoy small classes flexible programs, hands-on research experience, and a long-standing tradition of outstanding undergraduate experience offered by dedicated faculty.
Our faculty, staff, and graduate students have access to state of the art research facilities located throughout campus, as well as a network of community and landscape resources throughout the region where they can base their research.
