Today Grenfell Campus will launch the Orientation Brightspace shell, a key element of Your Grenfell Experience- a pub for all the information needed for new and returning students, and faculty and staff, about the Fall 2020 semester.
Your Grenfell Experience is being offered in conjunction with MUNUP (St. John's campus) and the MI Journey (Marine Institute). Your Grenfell Experience will be accompanied by a social media campaign scheduled to run throughout the summer. Please click here to hear a message from our president Dr. Vianne Timmons.
The Orientation Brightspace shell can by accessed by students by logging into mymun where it will appear as a course.
Orientation will be offered remotely through Brightspace, a learning technology that will be used in course delivery. This orientation course is designed to familiarize students with Grenfell Campus while assisting with the remote learning experience. It will introduce key people and resources needed to navigate the first year at Grenfell through remote learning. The course will provide tools and techniques for academic success, health and wellness, and personal development.
Throughout the summer, we will continue to roll out new information, including an overview of things to do before starting clases. Students are encouraged to check back often to get everything they need.
Our FAQ section will also be updated regularly with important information about the Fall 2020 semester. It will also provide students, staff, faculty and the community with information about student learning resources and support, and an overview of how things will operate differently in the upcoming semester Events, like on-line Town Halls and virtual sessions, will also be posted.
