Previous recipient Vahid Salehi & former director Veronica HutchingsThe Aging Research Centre-Newfoundland and Labrador (ARC-NL) of Memorial University is pleased to announce its annual call for Graduate Fellowships. This year ARC-NL will provide up to four Graduate Fellowships for master’s and PhD students in 2023. The fellowships will be valued at $6,000 for one year, in addition to any baseline funding for which the student is eligible.
This year, ARC-NL is also partnering with AGE-WELL NCE for a jointly funded fellowship of $18,000 for Masters or $24,000 for PhD.
To apply for an ARC-NL Fellowship, Expressions of Interest (EOI) must be submitted by the supervising faculty member on behalf of the student. The EOI should provide a broad description of the project, the role of the graduate student and the potential impact of the study in terms of closing knowledge gaps and contributing to the health and well-being of the aging population in Newfoundland and Labrador.
To apply for the ARC-NL AGE-WELL Fellowship, students must complete an application form and attach their CV, transcripts, a research statement, and personal statement by the student.
The deadline for receipt of the applications is April 30, 2023.
